02/18/08 - Mirror, Mirror

Logan is starting to discover himself!

02/17/08 - Logan's First Bath

With his umbilical cord off and his circumcision healed, we gave Logan his first bath. Once Logan was in the warm water, he loved it (which made everything easier). He was very cooperative. He even peed over the baby bath into the bathtub, so only a little of his urine stayed in the baby bath!

02/14/08 - Off to the Pediatrician

We went to the pediatrician for Logan's 2 week visit. While there, Logan peed on the doctor. I told her that he was getting revenge for the future shots she will give him! Logan weighed in at 7 lbs. The doctor was very happy about his weight gain. Looks like he'll be a big boy! The picture was taken at the pediatrician's office after he peed :-)

02/13/08

Beause of Logan's cold, he was more comfortable sleeping in his car seat (pediatrician approved!) and he just looked so cute.

02/08/08 - The Bris

We brought Logan to shul for his Bris. Logan hung out with his godparents (Bella and Dovid Krieger) while Rabbi Seplowitz prepared him for the Bris. Poor Logan was a prince while he joined the Jewish nation. He was named Meir Pinchas after my father, Joey's grandfather and Opa's nephew. Joey gave a beautiful speech and bestowed upon Logan the the innocence of youth; the independence of adulthood and the wisdom of old age.

02/07/08 - Vacht Nacht

As tradition dictates, the night before a baby's bris, kids in the neighborhood (AKA our neices) come over to say shema. Then Logan got a sponge bath to prepare for his bris the next day. Thank you Aunt Chani for giving him a sponge bath!

02/03/08 - Breaking Free

On 02/03/08, Logan was released from the hospital. He left at 6 lbs 4 oz. We made sure to leave with as many diapers as possible! On the way to Nana's house in Monsey, we stopped by for a visit with Oma and Opa. Oma and Opa were so excited to see their first great grandson! Logan was using the hat and blanket Oma made him . Its a good thing too, because it was a cold day!

02/02/08 - Visitors in the Hospital

During our brief stay in the hospital, we had many visitors. Nana and Chani stayed with us the entire shabbos. Ruthie joined us on shabbos afternoon (its a good thing she moved to Washington Heights). Saturday night, the rest of Joey's family came, along with Bella Tendler and Lea Greenspan. Logan was worn out!
